Scary Thieves - Halloween Released on CD

The lost gem from the early 80’s, a glittering synth’ rock nugget restored from the original EMI Records master tapes; 16 tracks, full 70 mins of music; incl’ the ’lost’ album, ALL the singles, AND remixes. Heavyweights of the era. Limited Edition CD only

The Scary Thieves name is synonymous with ’synthesiser legend’, one of the most pioneering albums of the early eighties; CP, Youdell, and the boys struggled with cutting edge PP2 Wave, brand new Simmons technology, and a host of other ’analogue’ nightmares. They, with the assistance of Japan producer Steve Nye crafted this little pop masterpiece, which, apart from a number of ‘bootlegs’ over the years, remained un-released, until Furry Records took the bull-by-the-horns, dusted down the original EMI/Parlophone masters and put out this little baby of a CD. 16 tracks; un-released album, singles, re-mixes, in one hot Eco-package.

UPDATE:

Quick show review from Wed, June 11 – Hamden CT @ The Outer Space

Ringo Deathstar - with the distortion and reverb it was so loud, you could not hear anything.

Peter was fantastic, it was the wrong venue, the sound was awful, but at least they finally realized they did not need to turn it up all the way, Peter keep signaling to turn it down. Wish more if his older songs were played. Although he did add "She's in Parties" to our line up. New album was not at the show for sale, just a t-shirt, seems they were promoting more the $100 meet and greet.

NeuroRythm - Dissent

So if you like raw old school stuff you will enjoy NeuroRythm!

NeuroRythm is an EBM / Industrial band created by Andreas Gregor and his wife Laurie. The idea of the band actually stemmed from an elaborate April Fools prank they played on one of the weekly radio shows they hosted. They created a fictitious band with a long and colorful history. Andreas and Laurie also created the music for this faux band which culminating into a killer cover of Kiss' s "I Was Made for Loving You", Trent Reznor style. After the show aired, they received numerous email requests from listeners asking where they could purchase the music by this band and thus, the seeds for NeuroRythm was born.
At that particular time, Andreas had been away from the music scene for a couple years and the enormous success of that show made him realize his love of making music was stronger than ever. Andreas had always been involved in the electro / EBM scene starting from his teenage years in bands . In 2012, Andreas went back in the studio writing and recording with the assistance of Laurie on vocals and/or keyboards. His passion is creating electro / EBM music with an old school edge.
Andreas has been involved in the electro / EBM scene starting from his teenage years.
His past projects include: Techniques Berlin, Digital Poodle and !Bang Elektronika.

A full length album was released in late 2012 and you can purchase
from iTunes, or my favorite CD Baby!
